Can i take my amphib onto a lake?

Hi yall i have a quick question. In texas, can i take my amphibious onto the lakes here?

Sure you can. Now, whether it is legal or not is a different question. Seriously though, I wouldn't see why not. I took a quick look at the Texas boating requirements and didn't see anything that immediately prohibits an ATV from being registered as a vessel. I have mine registered in NC and others do the same in other states. You should register it just like you would any other boat and then you can sail the lakes without a care in the world, other than the wake of a large boat.
