    Chain ?

    What you guys using that holds up ?
    I have #40 and #50 in my starcraft. I GOT A PRICE AT WORK ON MORSE AND TSUBAKI. Was told both are of the same quality ?
    Also Morse has O-Ring 50 chain and it is cheaper ?
    Sorry for the same Question over but I didn't find the info I need to order the Rite stuff the First time !

    Either company makes fine chain and you will be well satisfied with either.

      Ok So I pulled my chains and got my count on what I need. Now I am Confused ?
      Looking at Tsubaki Chain and thy have LAMBDA,RS50,RSD50 ??
      Can some one Please tell me What is the better of them ?

        I use RS50 tsubaki. Can't find my book now but think the others are specialty chain.

          I believe the lambda chain requires no lubrications.

            It gets confusing for sure ! I just want to put a Good chain in the first time as where thy are in this machine is tuff to get to.
            Anyone running Plated ? Or O>Ring ?

              I just changed all my chains, mine is an older argo so it uses double strand, i dont know if your machine does as well. I went with Tsubaki, only cuz thats what the dealership sells & I haven't heard anything negative about them so I figured that it was worth the extra money. Don't want to have to do it again soon. . .

                I read here RI used Tsubaki Omega o-ring chain on their Max machines, with MuddOx moving to another top brand after they bought the company (brand forgotten by me). Omega chain has over 9000 pounds tensile strength, with Lamda o-ring going over 11000.
                I am currently using MFG Supply o-ring chain, which has over 9000 pounds of tensile strength. No issues in two summers of use.
                Stand for the Flag. Kneel for the Cross.

                    MFG o ring appears to be a good chain. Just remember the oring chain is wider than standard chain and dosent fit well
                    into some slide type tensioners. MAX went to the narrower sprockets and 520 chain to get the chain into slides. Oring chain can also give clearance issues on multiple sprockets( center axle on max 2)
