    Hello, from Ohio been reading the posts for a couple of weeks trying to learn a little on the project I found,it appears to be a slightly wore out scrambler. One thing about it,someone has saved me time on the tear down,might need a hand to get it back mobile thanks Scott

    I just bought a 1992 Max IV 6 wheeler. I'm located in Greenville SC and was wondering if anyone knew someone that worked on these anywhere close to my location. The chains need tightening and possibly 1 or 2 sprockets replaced. There is a load popping sound coming from the left side main sprocket when turning it to the right and the chain sounds like it is jumping off the sprocket.

    I live in Bemidji, Mn, the home of Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox. We can get all four season in one day. My brother and I have a Viking snowmobile collection (26) some in mint condition. I also own a very rare 1941 BRC40. I pastor a small church here in my hometown and a number of years ago one of our members has a metal fabricating company called "EvenAire Systems, he picked up a old 1970 model O79 Amphicat. He took the body of and reproduced a polished aluminum body right down to the exact detail. The end of last summer I had got stuck gave it some rpms to get out and did some minor damage to the transmission. So I am looking for some info on the trans. I been on your website from time to time.

    Greetings. I have been introduced into the world of amphibious ATVs via an outdoors YouTube channel I have come across. Ever since, I've been wanting to learn more about these quirky machines. The reason I come here is to do exactly that; learn about 6 wheelers and have a handful discussions about them. I go on occasional camping trips in and out of Ohio and like outdoors talk.

    Good day all, my name is Stéphane. I the owner of a 2019 6X6 Frontier 570cc. Got this to have some fun. It’s been less than a month, it floats, throws dirt and with the snow we had last week, the 18” plastic tracks are really amazing. The whole family likes this. So being in the region of Ottawa, Ontario Canada, I sure would like to meet up with others. The adventures are just beginning. Thank you for allowing me on your site, so much to learn and share.

    UPDATE........ thanks to the info on these forums I have Been able to fix the transmission/steering issues I was having
    . Readjusted the brake ,clutch pucks .then the steering sticks linkages
    ..then I noticed the engine was in a more forward position which made my belt loose ..i slid motor back ,tightened everything the way it was supposed to go.........BAM now it's running and driving .I AM HOOKED

    Welcome to the site. Take the valve core out and suck the air out with a shop vac micro tool. Then just put the valve cap back on until you get the tracks on. Then put cores back in. Tires will deflate so much they will form a triangle or square.

    Lots of great information on the site. Recently picked up a MaxII with tracks to get into some hunting property our family has. Works great but thought I had a bearing issue. Turned out to be the front chains were binding. Removed them and all is well. I would like to find out how to deflate the tires with a shop vac though. Having trouble getting the tracks back on. Great site, I've learned a lot. Only hope I can add something in the future. Thanks all.
