My name is Keoni, I'm here in the Atlanta Georgia area looking for some folks with some awesome 6x6 vehicles around the area.

I have a unique request. I'm in Atlanta helping produce a new reality TV show for one of the top 10 Networks. In the first episode of the series we have a challenge that involves contestants driving around some awesome off roading machines! We are really wanting to showcase some of the awesome vehicles that are in this 6x6 world. We are looking for 2 vehicles that can fit 5 people each that we can use in mid October. If anyone can put me in contact with the right people to get this going that would be absolutely amazing.
Wow. Nothing like forethought in programming, really in less than 2 seeks you're shooting an episode.

There are no 6x6 machines that safely hold 5 adults.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

    • Hey Josh,
Welcome to the site. I am sure that you will find others in your state with an AATV. Several things to consider when thinking of using a 6x6 or 8x8 in water. While they will float, they are designed for calm water. They are not designed for big bodies of water, I.E., a big lake which might have heavy waves. While you could go out on a calm lake, do so with caution, knowing that you should not get so far from shore that you could not get back safely should a storm come up. Also, they are not designed for fast moving water, such as rivers or streams which have substantial flow rates. Their speed would not allow you to traverse from one side to the other without being moved substantially by the current. Also, as with any water vehicle, never overload the vehicle, and always follow all state and other regulations regarding motor vehicles in/on the water and always carry flotation devices. Best of luck.

      • I put an outboard on my little attex. It's pretty fast (for being a brick), but it isn't exactly stable. I've been hit by some larger boat wakes and it's ... not the most comfortable. Try to take them head on. I've sailed around the world, but driving a 6x6 in the water is a whole new ballgame.

        • Not to good at computers so hope im doing this correctly
just got my first argo ,a 2015 hdi with 380 kms
i live in northern Alberta Canada
having a time figuring out the track set up ,it says to put the smallest tire first, then largest ,second largest and finally second smallest
it also says to put the 2 center tires on in reverse and to pressure them at 5,7,7,and 6psi
do i just take both center wheels off and flip them 180

im just as bad at computers as i am at figuring out argos

          • Hello, welcome to 6x6world.
For size, use a tape and measure circumference. To "reverse" em just put the 2 left mids on the right side and vice versa.

              • Hello to everyone, I'm Bob. After retiring out of the navy I moved from Oregon (where I grew up) to East Tn. about 18 years ago. I've been into off-roading most of my life, mostly old beater cars and four wheel drive trucks. I had 3 wheelers since about 1987 (Up in Alaska). but never had a 4 wheeler till about 3 years ago, (a Kawasaki King Quad).
Well, to make a long story short, (Yeah I know, that ship already sailed. lol) Anyway, I bought a Max II about a week ago..... Good Lord, I never knew what I was missing. lol. These rigs are the best thing since sliced bread!!
I have 13 acres in the hills outside of Lafollette and have been getting used to the machine, Now I'm looking into the 6 & 8 wheel community looking for places to ride and getting to know some of the other local 6 & 8 wheel enthusiasts.
Well, I suppose I've rambled on enough. Just wanted to introduce myself and say I've Really enjoyed the site and the videos.

                      • Hello everyone!!! I’m new here and looking for some information and would greatly appreciate it. I recently got a 1970 skipper 6x6. I believe the chains aren’t routed correctly. Would anyone have the chain routing schematic for this model? Greatly appreciated!!!

                        • Just bought a 2018 Fronter S. Plan on using it as our winter “get around” vehicle. Had a windshield, tracks, canvas roof, mud guards and auto oiler put on it. Thought about installing the hood fan, any thoughts. Live in Central Pennsylvania. We have other units to run in the Summer, mainly a Winter unit.

                          • Hi All, Just bought a 2018 6x6 SE Argo and pick it up on Friday. Trying something new from riding typical SxS machines. Hoping to use it for trail riding and hunting this year in Alberta Canada, my home.

I also have a YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/c/theemporiumchannel) where I post all my UTV Camping and general outdoor videos.

I hope to be doing new videos on the Argo and how it compares to a traditional side by side. Your welcome to check by my channel in the next week or so and see the Argo videos or check out some of my other UTV camping vids.

If anyone has any newbie tips on what TO do and what NOT to with my Argo - I'd be very appreciative!

                            Regards

                            Michael

                              • Hello everyone come up I thought I'd go ahead and introduce myself to the group. I've been riding dirt bikes and 4 wheelers for years now and saw a Sperry rand winge for sale near me. I haven't purchased it yet but I'm pretty sure it will be mine tomorrow. I'm sure there will be many questions I have about this new adventure being I don't think it has the jet pump and I know it does not have the roll cage. This one runs and should not take much work to have reliable. I was wanting my 1st question to be how much is the value on these little go devils? I don't want my 1st act to be paying too much right out of the gate. So if you guys could give me a ballpark figure on a price or value it would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to Landing more about these great little vehicles. Thanks in advance!
