  • Degreasing ?

Fellow 6x6 owners, Finally got the floors boards off to look underneath my Max IV. I noticed years of dirt, twigs, leaves and dried grease all over. I need to spend some time cleaning, so my question is: after all the debris is removed what is the best degreaser you have used to clean the area such as chains and sprockets and get them ready for new lubricants? Any help is deeply appreciated. Thanks

I would lift the front up high as you can get it so it drains out the back drain holes first. Then spray it down real good with Gunk Engine Degreaser. Maybe 2 cans depending on the amount of build up ?
Let it soak real good then if you can Blast it off with HOT water. This should do the trick

I use Gunk too and it works quite well with a plus that it won't corrode aluminum.

Dawn dishwashing detergent is what we use on oil soaked birds and surprisingly enough it works great also
