Maybe I should bring this down in case Dee Dee Lin gets the mudd-ox stuck, or anyone else for that matter, in a bottomless mud hole. John BoyIMG_2451.jpg

well i don't own it, but it is a cool machine. i was up at the little local store and the guy had pulled in to check the tiedowns. he had come from jersey to pick it up near here. paid $ 6500. he restores old military vehicles. it weighs 8 tons, has a diesel motor. you can't be claustraphobic and climb down in that thing. it was pretty tight in there, but cool. as allwheeldrive said, it's called a ferret. lot's of videos on the tube of restored ones. see ya soon.... johnboy

I believe with the Rolls Royce engine the Ferret was the fastest armored car of it's time, actually I think it was the fastest military vehicle period with a top end around 65 mph or so. Had all aluminum armor very advanced at the time. It was fast but not this fast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gX8AaQcuCJY ;-p

i also really like the half tracks and the kettenkrad tracked "" motorcycle " . also the ferret weight was 4 tons (8000 lbs. ) , not 8 tons. that guys trailer would have been flattened. he still said it was a tough pull even with his 1 ton dually. j.b.
