  • pulling/hauling 6 wheeler on the ground?

    will it hurt my max Iv to tow it behind my truck in nuetral if i am going about a mile? and can i do it in reverse or forward?

    I would disconnect the chains from the final drive/tranny to my main axle first. And even then, I would drive REAL SLOW.
    It's all just nuts and bolts.

      I'll second what Jeff said. I think there is a small chance of burning up the bearings in the output shafts. It's just like towing a car with an auto trans. Pulling it will turn the output shaft and not the input shaft so no oil gets to the gears/bearings/etc.
