  • Heating the Cab Help Needed

We will be making our first trip to Michigan's U.P. in February to go ice fishing. We will be taking our Max IV and Max II both with windshields and cab covers, my question is: with air cooled motors what do you all use for heating the cab and helping with the fogging of the windows.? Any help is deeply appreciated. Thanks

For my Max ii the battery will be located to the right rear, I was thinking a small fan or bilge blower may work well mounted in stock battery location the push engine and transmission heat into the cab. If the exhaust is sealed and exits the tub I don't think carbon monoxide should be an issue. If needed maybe make some shrouds or covers to block off some of the holes for winter use. Working together with a small fan I think would make the cab pretty warm. I haven't thought about defrosters I'm hoping on mine it stays warm enough to have Windows cracked
