  • Ventless LP Heater for Trailer

Fellow 6x6ers, I have a 16'x 7' high enclosed trailer for my Max ii and Max IV that I am getting ready for this upcoming ice fishing season. I would like to install a ventless LP heater for those cold days trying to thaw out machines after a long day on the ice. Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated. Thanks

Mr. heater and Procom make some vent free heaters that take up very little space. However if at all possible the vented heater is a better option because of the moisture problem in the trailer with vent free and you’ve always got the high carbon monoxide to worrry about. You can also spend the night in it. If you do go vent free leave a window open. I’ve got the same size trailer and found a direct vent heater at a garage sale for $25.
What it lacks in ground clearance it makes up for with traction.

I have a 20’ x 6’ duck hunting pit that has the mr buddy ventless heater in it and it’s great, but we do have 5 shooting holes and a dog platform that does let some air in and out.

find a trashed popup camper and grab the heater out of it
