  • Flex Tape fo waterr leaks

I had a fairly significant water leak where the two body halves come together around the muffler.
It was a kinda nasty area to work in and I didnt want a repair that was too involved. In other words I wanted as cheap and quick a "fix" as possible.
I went down to my local Canadian Tire store and purchased a roll of Flex Tape.
Cut four strips to size and stuck them on around the seam. Damn sticky stuff!
Took the Argo out in the water twice now and it seems to be working. Still a small dribble comes in but if I had been a little more diligent with the tape application I doubt there would be any.

If your just going got water proof, this stuff works great! It's pretty much the one side sticky rubber roofing tape you can buy which also works good!

Flex tape is the real deal. I covered a 4x4" hole in a Max II lower body and filled the tub up with water. It never leaked.

To follow up on the performance of Flex Tape on my Argo.
It did not stick well around the muffler area. I assume the heat was too much for it.
I also used a piece on a crack that was Not in an area of extreme heat and it seems to still be adhering well.
