Ok guys I need help here again. How much deflection should i have on my belt. I have just shy of 2 inches. Is that to much?

i keep mine a little under 1 inch and no issues

It is certainly a factor. loose or worn belt will cause a loss of low end torque, and top speed. measure the belt top width. if it is 1 3/16 (or close) then you are good to go. just add shims under the engine stand to raise it up and tighten the belt
