Hi. I am looking for info on the Tsubaki Sigma 530 chain for use as primary chains on a Max IV.
The tensile strength is 900 pounds more than Tsubaki's Omega chain, at 10,600 versus 9,700. But, the price is roughly double, depending where is ordered from, or if on sale.
Is this chain worth it as primary chain? Would you, or do you already, use it?
I broke a primary chain sold by MFG Supply (tensile strength at 9,700, but not Omega) the other day, and need to buy new primary chains. The broken one was stretched and tired. Going uphill didn't help matters. We had to walk home that day.
