6 x 6 half tracks

Is anyone running these on the center and rear tires on their 6x6 and if so can you please comment on how useful and effective that they are, problems with them, unforeseen issues, etc.?

hey ez...i have been running on my max 2 half tracks with great performance . they are on the center and rear tires. one advantage is they take a little less power to run but still add better traction than just tires in mud. you have to make sure when you are running them , the front tires match the diameter of the tracked tires. with the tracks on my back 2 22'' tires they were 25'' diameter. so i bought 2 25'' tires for the front. check out the events on this site under '' busco oct . 2018 '' ride and you will see videos of my machine . any more questions , just ask. glad to help . johnboy va.

Many thanks, Pard. I had not even considered front tires diameter to match the tracks outer diameter.

I’ve got chains on the front tires, easy enough to adjust.
