i need to know what kind of paint i need to paint a max iv. i have used the plastic paint from wallmart and it just scratches off. i hate the brown color my 6x6 is and i want to paint it black. please help

Basically, plan to touch up any paint on polyethylene on a regular basis.

If you have alittle extra cash, you can pick up a can of "self-etching" primer from an auto paint or parts store. That will etch itself into the plastic and your paint will bond to it. Make sure you get a top coat that is compatable with it, and make sure you follow the directions. Usually the primer wants you to apply a top coat of paint before the primer fully dries. Another more "Expedient" way would be to skuff up your paint surface with 220 grit sandpaper and then apply your spray. The rough surface will give the paint something to grab on to. All-in-all, as Mike stated, you'll always be touching up the paint on a regular basis.It's all just nuts and bolts.
