  • Sierra trail boss

I may be acquiring a trail boss for my next victim. Aside from rotten frame and broken transmission what should I keep my eyes open for? I figure if it's cheap enough or free even if the engine and transmissions are toast I can use it for a trailer behind my Max, but I'd really like to try to get it going first so my wife can have her own aatv since I'm building mine custom to me since I'm paraplegic.

After looking at good tire prices, i'm really glad i got an amphib with some mint goodyear runnamucks. Tires are way too expensive!

Il buy another set of eBay specials lol, it has knobbies on now anyway so some sort of v tread will be in order, water use will be pretty far and few, if it gets to be an issue I will rig up a trolling motor. I didn't know you were online I just messaged you lol

It's a 2cyl 2 smoker too, it doesn't appear original as the carb boot (carb us missing) is sticking out through the back of the tub.

So are these alright machines or if I get it should I just plan on making a trailer? It's been sitting uncovered for I don't know how long, I haven't personally got to look it over other than a couple pictures my buddy sent me. I'm hoping it's worth saving the plastic looks okay other than what's cut for the 2 stroke swap, the engine is in the rear instead of middle like others I've seen.
