  • ROPS Top Heavy ?

I recently removed my ROPS, the machine handles a lot better (way less tippy). And the pressing weight on the Argo body is gone. You can see the effects of the weight on the body of the Argo.
Thoughts ??? I realize the cons , just uncertain if they outweigh the pros.
Swimming with a ROPS on is SKETCHY !!!

The Argo ROPS is a bit heavy at almost 250lbs. It’s noticeable when swimming, but not terrible. If one were to start adding weight by closing in the ROPS, or by hauling stuff on the roof ( boat motors, gas cans, etc), then you’re looking for trouble.

That has been a compromise design for years. Like having a large passenger standing up all the time. Unless you are in the mountains, I think you are good to go without it. I've never come close to flipping an Argo, Max and Hustlers yes many times.

It should have been a 90 pound design from the factory.
