Engine considerations?

hey guys/gals
I'm getting ready to rebuild my max iv and I'm starting with engine first.
Sooooo,im wondering if a lifan 24hp would be a good swap for my 18hp Honda thats shot? Or should I get the 22hp Predator engine?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Lifan are good from my experience, from what I gathered on the golf cart forums they have a little better QC than predator, but it's hard to beat HF return exchange warranty policy. And if you want to hot rod the predators they have decent aftermarket support. Either would be a good choice.

I was looking into getting my Honda 18hp fixed but cost vs new getting close dollar wise.
24hp lifan would be a great boost in power .
