  • Argo 6X6 or Terrajet for wooded swamp

    Hi,
I live in Ontario Canada on 40 acres with most of that considered wetlands. I have floating bog as well as heavily treed areas. There are a couple of ponds out there as well.
Presently considering an Old Terra jet or an older 6x6 argo that has no tracks. What would be the best machine in your opinion? The one with the least amount of winching....

Terra Jets don't turn very well or very sharp. You're much better off with a 6x6 in the woods.

Thanks. I will be waiting on a tracked argo then. Is the Ariens? sp track the way to go for tough mudding and terrain? Likely going over a lot of timber and swamp. Would prefer not to always be winching and wrenching although I think these machines need a bit of both.

The Adair tracks would work well. So would channel tracks and beaver dam tracks. You can check out the different styles of tracks on you tube. May help you decide which track would be good for you
