I was just woundering if anybody has put rino bed liner on the bottom of their tub as a "skid plate"


*on a side note i was woundering if anybody knows where to get a throttle cable for a twin carb rotax 503

i've seen them not slide/skid well in mud,, holds you back., causes more friction..

Rhino Liner

Works better as a "stuck plate" than a skid plate . Check out the thread here somewhere on HydroMikes poly skidplate installation. Thats the way to go, it is less expensive, and it does not look very difficult to do...........at least from sitting at my computer....

yea, most would advise you not too. Hydro Mike did a good job with his skid plate!!! Go that route.

A lil trick o mine!

Something I do to my bigfoot, about every third month, (except in winter), is wash it down real good, top and bottom, then use spray silicone from the bumper down, and wipe it all down with it.
Seems to help quite a bit when driving thru really sticky mud, and mud cakes up alot less, making cleaning later, a breeze. I however, do not spray n rub the tires, just the body.

A spray on liner would definately do the reverse.

Well, I'll make it 4 against...friction is my reason,too. Nice touch, STORMS... we used to do that in bflo for winter riding in snow without tracks. Worked real well if you took the tires off or covered them with garbage bags!

Well, since I use a pallet jack, I just take off all the tires/wheels. I use a ramp to get to the very bottom after putting the tires back on. Sometimes, I use the winch and a tree limb to get under it. Pretty easy either way, and helps keep things cleaner, longer. I like a nice lookin ride
