    cover

Covered trailer would be best next to the garage. I use a piece of rolled roofing rubber and some plywood to cover the gap from the seat area . The rubber keeps it very water and snow free. 24" of snow cover now.

If the trailer is big enough and could handle the extra weight, I would build sides and a top for it, because at least then, you could lock it up completely, away from prying eyes/hands of neighborhood children, and the top would keep it nice n dry, and ready to ride.

It's an idea to think about, if you can't build yourself an extra storage building.

If I was not living in government housing I would defiantly be putting up another building.

[QUOTE=6X6;31580]Companies like Shelter King and Cover-It (better but more $$$) make relatively inexpensive garage buildings, with heavy tarp sides, doors and top. Even Tractor supply carries them, just not sure on quality, but for a few hundred it's good for storage. (Heck, I'm using a 10'x20' for a workshed, yes, in the dead of winter

I also have a shelter king and I have a coal stove in one end of it. When I needc to work on the machine I just start the stove. and then I have a warm place to work. Up untill this year I stored my argo outside. I never had any problems with it I just left the top on it to keep the snow out and in the summer I kept the top off and the plugs out untill I needed them.

I have a few too many toys, they won't all fit in my shop, so I usually have to store about half of them outside. We have about 4' of snow out there right now (You could drive over my 6x6 Argo with a sled, and not know it was there). I use canvas tarps, for the most part, you might want to consider building a temporary frame on you trailer to tarp over. Leave the plugs out, it will be fine. As a matter of fact, it won't mind being outside as much as you mind leaving it there.lol

I need a bigger shop too
