Winch rope

Just wanted to see if any one was using the synthetic wich rope and how they liked it? I bought some but have not put it on yet. Every thing I read is preety good except they say you need to swap out your fairlead and I was thinking about just smoothing mine up? I was also wondering about using a block with the rope and how that was? As always good to hear from experience, thanks

Some of my friends have the synthetic rope,Everyone said you have to use the fair lead.The rope is easy on the hands and don't kink up or hang up like the cable.

I won't use anything but synthetic line now. Either fairlead will work but you need to ensure its perfectly smooth which is doubtfull if you ever used the winch with the steel line.

will do, also I will be trying to smooth up my fairlead instead of buying new, I like to recycle, or maybe I am cheap

Just got the winch saver in the mail so I should have the rope on soon
