I took my argo for the first creek ride this weekend. Not too impressing,The water was flowing about 8mph,Soft sand about 50feet wide.I started up stream,As soon as it started floating down stream i would go,I could keep the nose up stream at full throttle and stay in one spot,I would go as far as i could up the sand bar then go down stream to try and get across to the other sand bar. After about an hour of fighting it up stream that was enough for me,Going back was easy.Needless to say after an hour and a half ride to get to the creek and an hour ride on the creek,I loaded it up and went home pissed off. This is the same creek that i ride my 4 wheeler on with no problem.

That kind of goes with what i was thinking. How deep was the water? My guess is shallow fast water would be better on an ATV so the tires would stay in contact with the ground

The depth of the creek is mostly 2 to 3 feet with much deeper holes in places,You have to no where the deeper places are to make it on 4wheelers.Going down stream was cool on the 6 wheeler,IT would be ok if you had another truck down stream to take you back to the truck up stream

A max 11 is not known to be the best water machine. If you get a chance you might try a Max 1v with 26 inch super terra grip tires.
