  • sagged body (old argo)

after 20 years of hard work and overloaded "over-the-body" rear box, the polyethylene body on my 1987 argo is kind of lowered enough that the track hit the body.

is there a way to make it higher like before ? (get more tire clearance)

I was thinking of a 240v electric heater under the argo suspended OFF the ground by 2 wooded support so all the argo weight is on the side lips of the body or the outer edge of the fenders while the bottom tub get heated. I can throw a heavy tarp over the argo to maximise the heat effect.

That sounds like it might work,But i would try a heat gun,About $25 at harbor freight.

I think I heard of same thing done before with suspending it from the outer seam but using a heat gun instead as coosaridgerider stated. Maybe an angle Iron body band would help hold it up?
