  • Rust removale the easy way info/pics

Found this somewhere, removing rust with electricity.
1 12v at least 1 amp 2 or more faster.
For every gallon of H2o add 1 Tablespoon of baking soda stir well.
Hook positive to a piece of stell(rebarr in this case)
    do not subsistute metal!.
    Negitive to rusty part.
WITH OUT being plugged in put parts in solution make sure they do not touch.
Plugin, small bubbles with start to showup, this is at least partly hydrogen so do outside for safety.
This was a 1 amp set up and took 2days.
My 2 amp set up is about a day.
It worked so well I just had to share.

    Rust

Sweet! I stand in front of a blast cabinet way to long. Thanks for sharing and also mentioning to keep it safe. I read somewhere about a guy cleaning parts with brake cleaner almost died when he got a wiff of it superheated while welding with a mig. DANGERIOUS stuff!

Be sure to disconnect power in a manner that will not create a spark, Hydrogen AND Oxygen are produced through this process. One stray spark and BOOM . You can also use this process to boost your vehicles' gas mileage. A guy I work with got an extra 12 mpg out of his Chevy s-10 ...sweet

Wow, someone like Amphiman could power his fuel cell car with all the rust he has.

Member Powerzap got me into this stuff and sent me some ebooks on it free. I started playing around with it and this is the same method used to make hydroxy. Which is hydrogen and oxygen. Same thing as hydrolysis or splitting water or what ever its called. Those bubbles are explosive. But if your in the open its not that big a deal at all. I was doing it in my laundry room and taking the propane torch to the bubble of the hydrogen generators I was building. Snap crackle pop. Its pretty cool. I was doing it in a 5 gallon bucket, outside and got a full layer of bubbles and pop, that was really really loud. I actually was able to make a mini torch and used cigarette butt as a spark arrester. I got my small mini torch on you tube. It is build with plates of stainless steel with every other plate is +/-. I thought it would work awesome in plastic welding poly plastic as its supper hot and very precise as my generator didnt produce enough hydroxy. I was actually able to prove to a site like this on hydrogen that they where wrong when saying you need a real good production of hydrogen to make a torch work. For those interested in the ebooks PM me your email address and I will email them all long. Few are on the de rusting and few on hydrogen generators.

Here is my torch. This was my first design. I later made a bigger one with pvc pipe that doubled the output. I had a ball inflating needle pinched off to hold the pressure for the flame. When I open it up in the video it pops, that is flash back but the cigarette butt filter in the tube stops it from going into the bubbler. Which is also a safety device protecting the glass mason jar from exploding. This little flame was enough to melt through a tin can. I also was able to melt rocks putting a glaze like appearance to them where I heated them up.

              Browns gas

Larry i was hoping someone here "played with this".
In the rust remover its baking soda, no the best eletrolyte(spelling?).
              Cheap / disposable works well.
For browns gas the use some thing else.
Anyway this is where I'm going with my max...
It has a carburator so it should be a nice "boost"
Remember our I.C.E (Internal Combustian Engine) are really not that efficient( can't remember %) all we are doing boosting its efficiency
THanks for sharing Larry, PM coming at you.
