This is a comment about my personal experience. I'm going to be 69 in a few months. Still working on projects around the shop, but some things don't seem to matter as much anymore. Where I live there were no trail rides and my wife is not interested in going out with me. I have a Swamp Fox and an Eagle(COOT derivative). they sit and I need to sell because I'm watching things rust away. Sorry about the negative tone but life keeps going on and we deal with new challenges every day

What I am having difficulty with is, where are all the 'members'??? Case in point. Dec 11, 2025, was the most recorded users on line, with nearly 10,000 recorded that day.

So, where are the members and where are their posts and comments? There once was many per day, now next to zero in a month!
Come on guys. If you are out there, say so.

just thinking ...when we use to get lots of riders at the 2 gatherings each year at busco there was so much more activity on here . even those that did'nt attend loved and responded to the videos , comments , etc. the last couple of years those rides died off for whatever reasons . i think if we ever got that happening again ... even 7 or 8 people and some video . it would add once again add more input here. it does'nt seem there are any new riders that are close enough to go to n.c. busco jboy

    Hi again Mike
After some review and backtracking, I now believe, since the forum upgrade about a year ago, that the old user gallery files are now missing. I do see photos attached to posts, but other than than, no actual gallery area

    Hi Mike
The site seems to be working just fine for me. I could find (under your profile> about>under links> find all posts) all your 231 posts.
When you say 'members gallery', do you mean the members list or photos posted by members?

Hi guys. I had trouble with the site for a long time. Stopped here today to see what was up. Can't find the members gallery or all my inbox messages. Did that stuff get deleted. Thanks Mike Duggan

A few members, [tbone9, glen1971, Danth, Noel Woods, Kevin Percy, Dw89xj, Shawn H, TienBien, xbunsenx ] have visited in the past few months, but that is a far cry from the 18000 plus registered members!

Hey guys. Where have you disappeared to? If you want to see this site/forum prosper, you have to get with it and put some time and effort in. Even if just to say hello or whatever.
Personally, I don't use my 8x8 as much as I used to or as much as I'd like to. For me, changes that a previous government made, changed the rules in my area, and I can't take my Argo to where I used to. As an idea, mine is a 2007 Avenger, and it has about 250 hours on it.
I still try and pop in every few months, now that I see it is not a dating site. That was an unreal down turn, which may have turned away many users.

Hey John boy! Sorry man, haven't been on-site due to format being messed up for a long time. Just decided to check the site and now it's kind of back to what it was. Unfortunately I can't make Busco this fall. Hope you and the Mrs. are doing well and enjoying life.

Tbone9 and hipowerone, good to see we still have some regulars that are keeping site recent. like i said to jb, the site has been messed up for awhile when we tried to access site, the format was different Argojim and i talk about it and its just s shame what was 10 yrs ago, even 5, totally different as far as posts and people connecting. Hopefully I can get back on more now that it's back to normal.

trevorakm1: Glad that you are still lurking about. If you know of any other 6x6/8x8 owner/users, please give a shout out to them and maybe get them to visit and contribute again. John and I were a bit concerned as this site was a bee hive of activity a while back. But, after Mike sold/transferred it, things got a bit out of hand for a while, and a bunch of guys just stopped visiting due to some totally uncontrolled activity. However, the new webmaster is back in control and has done some site upgrades and is doing a proper job of monitoring activity.
Hopefully, old and new users will begin to visit, contribute, and things will get back to normal.
I truly miss the contributions about 'new' machines, issues both good and bad, and the normal day to day banter.

I wish I knew about this site back in it's heyday! But that being said I still check every couple days and it's been a fantastic resource to learn about the Hustle and Max we have. Hopefully will meet up with some other 6x6 owners some day and go mudding.
