  • Where to buy double 50 chain?

I need to replace the front chains on my 1985 Argo 8x8. It has double 50 chain. Where is the best place to buy chain? What brand of chain would you recommend?

    What about this?

There is a Graingers not too far from me and I know U.S. Tsubaki chain is pretty good but I wasn't expecting it to be soo expensive.

Cole, Most local bearing supply house will source the chain for you. You could also try ebay. As far as what brand to use is up to you. It depends on how much your willing to spend....Mark

I have bought chains for an Argo at the TSC Store, they have sales on it once in a while if your not in a hurry. It's no name but it seemed to stand up fine.

Cole you can check the prices at Shoup. I recently picked up a roll of 50 single US made at a reasonable price and they shipped 40 lbs of chain free as the purchase was over $200.

I like shoup too. They make american and imported in double 50. Get the american. You can lay your chains out and figure out the best use for a 10 ft length, if you want to do more than the front.
