Last friday evening we went for a night ride in Talladega at the coosa river annex. My wife Tina has rode the maxll around the house and on the dirt road that we live on a few times,No trail rides,She usually rides the polaris sportsman and was not too crazy about the 6 wheelers. We got there right after it stopped raining
,It has been raining here for 2 weeks,All the good spots where full of water. She rode the maxll and i rode the argo.We rode for about 5 hours through swamps, creeks, mud bogging pits and just about every kind of terrain you could imagine. She hung in there with me the whole time with no problems until this tree that was cut out of the trail jumped out in front of her.I looked back and all i could see was headlight shining up in the trees. She was ok just scared her a little. We rode on through this trail about 4 miles back to the road,Then we noticed she had bent the left front axel.We got back to the truck and loaded up the max and doubled up in the argo.We headed up to the hang out that is a big muddy area with deep mud hole that where full of water. Some of these mud holes are so bad that no one will try them. There was 6 or 7 4 wheelers and a couple trucks there.most of the 4 wheelers where in the pit playing around so i had to go show them how it is done.I went to the worst mud hole first,Every one stopped what they where doing to watch me go through the holes that no one could make it through. All the 4 wheelers would follow me to each whole and shine there lights on me.After showing them what the argo could do some of them where trying to buy it from me.
.It was getting late so we had to go.We have been on hundreds of night rides over the years but never on 6 wheelers. She had the best time and is still grining and ready to go again.I think she is hooked.
