  • mud flaps

    Been looking at pics of mud flaps not alot out there any one have any pics of thiers? I am lloking at how to mount them, I bought some mud flaps from a trailer company I think they are made of HDPE look like they will work but I would like some suggestions and pictures thanks

    I moved this thread to the General forum since it applies to lots of different six wheelers out there. For my wife's max IV I used Conveyor Belt from Tractor Supply made for hay balers. I used 4" wide belt on the sides and 7" wide for the back.

    They are bolted straight to the body and then at the rear of the car where the two different size pieces meet I have them riveted together for a little added rigidity. I believe I bought 16 feet of 4" wide belt and 4 feet of 7" wide belt and had a couple of feet left over when I was done. It didn't take too long and it really helps keep the mud out of the tub making for much easier cleanup.

    Not quite the same as an Argo but maybe it will give you an idea:
