  • where to buy lower body tubs for DIY 8x8

Looking for help finding lower body tubs, used or new , preferably new.

I am starting to create a parts list for a home built 8x8, I have an extensive car and atv background, and my build partner is a master welder for all types of metal.

we are looking for a lower tub, and most everything else will be fabricated in some way, most likely will be buying upper tub at a later date. currently toying with idea of 2 hydraulic bosch 2 speed retflex wheel motors from a skid steer bobcat for true counter rotation, but it is just a thought at this time.

basically I need a freakin tub first! preferably like new.

if no used ones, does anyone have a connection with someone at mudd ox or argo for a tub?

    lower tub

There is a 8x8 argo lower tub with skid plate for sale on Kijiji.ca in Brantford Ontario Canada. He also has some tires and a full top for a 6x6. Go to kijiji's canadian website and type "argo" in the search box and it should come up.

You can probably contact Argo directly to get a new tub if you can't find one somewhere else. Give them a call and see.

how much just for the lower tub? man Id like to buy it, but shipping it from canada to maryland would be a nightmare. ups freight wont even venture to canada will they?

Im trying to find a tub on the east coast so freight wont cost me more than the tub itself.
