  • Camo wrap stuff

    Hello guys
I'm just wondering if anyone has put that MacTac stuff called Camo Wrap on their Argo or Max upper body ,just wondering if it sticks properly to the dimpled surface of the plastic that they are made of ,the older Max's are fiberglass so it shouldn't be a problem there, but "stuff" don't seem to stick on that plastic will it ?? and stay ??
    thanks guys

I haven't used it on my Hustler yet, but on my Kingquad i wraped it with morning wood camo. it has held up all summer long.. it is a automotive grade wrap that i used.. it works really good.. i think that it would work on the Hustler just have to sand the body smooth and use heat for it to fill in the dimples on the body..

    hope this helps

Camoclad works really good on plastic too. I did a couple quads and they have lasted 2 years so far and no problems. Good company to deal with too.

I went and looked at a Max IV for someone here on the site and it had camo clad on it. Look at the second page here: http://www.6x6world.com/forums/max-a...ice-check.html

It seemed to stick very well to the Max but everywhere the owner had rubbed up against a tree and gotten some of it scraped off, the remaining camo clad was starting to peel there around the existing scratch / scrape. That's really the only negative but that's just the nature of the camo clad and I'm sure it would do the same on a quad.

Since you are putting it on an old scratched up body, I would go for it. It seemed to stick good everywhere else.
