  • Questions about suspension

Hi my name is Mark, from Sacramento California. I have been interested in AATV's, but have never learned to much about them. I have been looking at Land Tamers web page for a couple of years, but came onto your group. Looking at the pictures, I see some vehicles have A Arms and coil Overs ? Does this still allow the vehivle to still be used in the water, and on tracs for the snow, Certainly looks like the ride and usability on rough terrain would be better ?

    Thanks for any responses

Hey Mark, welcome to the site. the machines with suspension are referred to as "springers".
the old ones were built strictly for racing and were not amphibious.

a few years ago site member whipper built the new breed of springer. his machines are amphibious (and ride like a dream) but i don't think that tracks would work with them as the suspension travel could be limited by track length.
