Yep, my 252 Colt I bought from George has that setup. The Tranny mounting plates actually made my efforts to lower the tranny quite easy.

They are both ABS, I had the chance to get started on the repairs this weekend after a short run to the store to get more Acetone for further testing. I will have some Pictures of those up soon. After having a chance to Play with ABS goo.. I have decided that cutting the top down to fit the lower I already have is the best option available. The top is in the worse shape of the two and to be honest I won't have much to cut to get started. I think even some of the more experianced guys on this site might wince a little at the amount of Fiberglas under that crappy paint.
I see... some changes coming to this Attex. the right way
Thanks everyone for getting me headed in the right direction.Every time I have to push 1... I buy 10 more bullets

I would guess that what I have is what alot of people are seeing now a days with these, mixed parts sourced from different half dead machines. I am happy that I have one though, it's not like every sucker on my block has one. so at least it's my pile of partsEvery time I have to push 1... I buy 10 more bullets
