it has a engine cover wich mine does not behind the back seat. BINGO it also has a S in the seat. the back seat looks like it is molded in more detail. alot more detail then mine has. The upper lip on the back seat roll over the back. i eill take pic of mine tomorrow. also has a diferent bar to hold on for passenger aftermarket ? factory?I win

that one is a four seater isn't it. the back seat is bigger the stearing wheel goes farther back than mine too. the s on the seat (like jeffery9076 said) is different than the ones i've seen too is that why you are looking for a front bench seat(if i remember right)

Great Job guys!!! Good detective work.

                  Twinke00, you Win! I finally found a 4 seater.

I was looking at the craigslist pictures (the first 2) and was like, , that does look right. Called him up. And ran like heck 3 hrs to go get it.

I posted I wanted a bench seat for front but then though of this game and tried to cover it up my "multimobile info needed" but it still showed in recent post as bench seat wanted.

It is a newer scrambler model that is why the engine cover is like that. I think it should be a 1600 but the sticker is missing. It should have a 16hp tecumseh ohv engine if so. It has a old 8hp kohler in it. Runs but dont charge and dont run without power to coil so as soon as battery dies, it dies. Came with a ride mowrr with a older tecumseh 10hp also. Still not right but at least its right brand.
The rear seat design is flatter without the curve the 3 seater has. Makes a little more room. The front bucket is puzzling to me? It must be a newer style bucket I guess. Im not sure 100% on the T bar but there is definitely a pipe added going up for some reason. The dash is flatter/squared for more room for 2 people up front. The wheel is center. I guess that is earlier 4 seater design. I have seen that before though. Factory 4 lug hubs. Newer models dont have the plastic crappy skid plate but has the metal U channel runners. The bottom is near perfect but the upper body is cracked so Im learning some fiberglass repair soon. It has electric reverse I need the electric motor for it. But ring gear and mount are there. Been stored inside for at least 15 years which is weird without any rust. Its not 100% but its close enough for me. I need to clean it up, has years of dust and it really shows in the pictures.

Just need a front bench seat!!!

The latch doesnt go to anything? Im guessing the bucket is swapped out as the bench got ruined or something. The latch would have gone to something from the donor scrambler the bucket was stolen from?

                        Hey twinke00,
I bet if you look there is a bolt on your steering shaft that connects 2 peices together. If you pull that out there is probably another hole to make the steering shaft longer. At least all scramblers I have seen do that.

The front seat is from an early sidewinder.
