Wow! Thanks Swifty! I'm really humbled. The 503 sounded pretty good, but in all honesty, I goofed the machine up quite badly that weekend. I swapped the primary sprockets to twenty tooth versions while doing a rebuild before Ash, and I got little stick time to test it out before hand. The engine couldn't get the RPMs it needed to make the power it should have had. I ended up using the transmission as a second clutch, keeping the rpms up and slipping the bands while trying to keep speed up over 25mph. This smoked the bands (wrecking the tranny for the weekend). I rarely hit over 30 the whole weekend in the machine, but it sure looks good going around the track! She'll be back in much better, and much more competitive form this year.
