    home made AATV manual lift

    I had some time to kill today so i figgered id see if i could build a manual lift for the AATVs , it worked so well i didnt even have to grunt lifting it up LOL ,it only lifts it about 4 inches and gets all the wheels off the ground ,but boy was it easy to build and it works real well ,slide it under your machine lift on the handle and its up --------

    That is a really good design. Looks like it works great!! Me and yellowargo have been trying to build something similar with a winch, but we never thought of a big handle that uses leverage to lift. Could you post some measurments because i think i may copy your design.

      Hey thats pretty cool. About how much does it weigh? Looks like you can just move the Argo over it then lift.

          i used 16 guage (1/16") 1" X 2" rectangle tubing so its pretty light maybe 40-50 lbs ,dont forget that if you build one for an 8x8 you'll need to make it about 2' longer , oops double posted and didnt even notice till it was done ,sorry bout that

              Hello guys, did someone ever tought about using a pallette lift to move your machine... I got a friend who has one and it work great... It was such a good idea that i also bought a used one for 25$... It's amazing how you can move your machine in tight spots to clear some space in your garage.... Martwell

                    i have 2 of them that i use to move machines around in my shop. whenever another machine follows me home, it lives on a jack for a month or 2 durring the rebuild process. they work great for a 6x6, but are a bit short for the 8x8's. i could still use it with my argo 8 but not nearly as convient as with a 6x6. put the jack under the front and just a little manual lifting to get the rear up on an 8"x8" block of wood
