I need to order some new chains and don't want to pay the ARGO premium.

Has anyone ever heard of this company ? Global Chains - Manufacturer of Conveyor Chains and Sprockets

Anyone know of any other source to get chain ?

i don't know if they still do, but Tractor Supply (TSC) used to sell all different pitches of chain by the foot. i know i'm going to be needing some soon, and that's probably going to be where i try first. i think a lot of farm implement places would sell different sizes of drive chain, but i could be wrong.

What i've discovered is that there are as many chain makers as there are tire suppliers. Some good and some bad. I went with the cadillac MORSE chain made by Emmerson (the same people that make knives) The stuff at TSC is junk made in China and you'll be replacing it in no time.
