  • Propeller drive kit for AATV's

Hi guys, I have come up with a couple designs for a twin prop drive system for AATV's I need to find sources for the buying bulk part such as the motors. anyone have any idea where to find them. Probably some exporting company in China.

Anyway I am wondering what you all feel would be a reasonable price for a turnkey prop drive system that could be added to most AATV's with forward reverse and steering done by the props and they would be fully protected when not in use... Reason I am asking is that I need to see if I can build the system within a price range that folks are willing to pay. I created a poll with this post so please choose the highest amount you would consider paying. I am not going to share the design info yet as I need to get the plan book done and notarized so that down the road I can patent it and not have someone steal my ideas/designs.

    Hi:
Seems like a cool idea, if I had time and money I'd grab a Hustler or SPD with the jet, so a protected prop kit would be quite cool. Of course the questions will be how much more thrust they provide, (average MPH gains?), how much H.P. is required to operate them properly, exactly how well they are protected (We seem to be good at bending solid axles so tucked in well and well guarded would be in order for some), what modifications must be done by the owner (Some of us have access to machining equipment, most are pretty handy but some will be intimidated by anything over Simple Bolt-on) and where they stick out and by how much, (climbing steep banks or coming over logs can scrape/drag the backside of an AATV, even a short hitch plate can snag)

Just some curiosity questions. I don't swim enough to buy one at this point, but if I had disposable $$$ and a machine like a Max IV, Argo or Hustler Bigfoot, I'd be interested. IF I set up a 4-Stroke Attex, I'd also probably swim more regularly. (Heck, If I had a better income and a little free time I'd swim more regularly )
