  • rsc saphire chain

Has anyone tried this? It is imported by diamond chain co. and is much cheaper than standard Diamond chain. http://www.diamondchain.com/files/Sapphire_Complete.pdf
Strength is a little less #50 single= 4880 vs 6600 for standard diamond.

stick with the good stuff. cheap chain stretches fast, then you get to replace it again along with the sprockets that it chewed up

I bought a roll of it off ebay... Haven't ran it yet but for the price ya can't beat it. Its nickel plated too. Down the road once I get my machines restored and running then If it turns out to be crappy chain then I will upgrade...

The budget stuff might be ok for low powered machines and if you drive easy. Not something thst works for me

Leave the cheap stuff on the shelf, save up the money and get the chain that lasts. 187hrs. on the Avenger with the diamond chain and still going. That is 4 years of use. It's a 2006. Just my 2 cents.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

Remember cheap chain that is well maintained will last longer than good chain that is neglected. But it is hard to beat good chain that is well maintained.
