Dan.. Those are some nice videos. What type of camcorder did you use to make them?

The videos were recorded by me or by Mudbug, he uses a Flip Ultra for all his filming and so do I. I have had several different camcorders and I have stopped using everything but a flip, because it is so easy to use on the trail and takes such good video. All the new Flip Ultras film in HD and give excellent trail filming quality without all the problems of other camcorders, if the batteries go low simply replace them, etc.

Dave/Mudbug gave me his first Flip camera.. he has 3. Well I sort of traded frozen dinners and some atv labor for itbut it was a gift. I use VirtualDub free software to edit and then join each video segment together. I get to save each edited segment, and then the whole thing in it's original compact file format w/o any quality loss from converting or re encoding. I use a 10 year old computer and can edit, save and upload a vid in no time at all.

I can understand you love your adair tracks and keep promoting them all over the forum but you just insulted my intelligence saying they will dominate in light snow; my son could go through that kind of snow with his tricycle.
and no doubt that video could have been done with 18" tires on a yamaha banshee.
the point of having tracks in the snow is flotation and grip going uphill.

What are you dominating? This is another video, (err... advertisement via proxy) that draws conclusions from a lack of any data whatsoever. Calling this a snow test is like spitting on the ground and saying that the tracks perform effortlessly in wet conditions. For goodness sake, the grousers are taller than the snow is deep.
I won't dismiss their capabilities, but if you're claiming victory, at least make it a competition.

::EDIT:: There *ARE* some videos of the those tracks performing in deeper snow..... They seem to do well.Last edited by hydromike; 12-28-2010, 02:57 PM.sigpic

so far, in deep snow, the bar is set by the 20 inches rubber tracks; not by a ride-on lawn mower.

You know guys, everyone has been asking about snow performance of these tracks, I never said they would be great in powder, I am not trying to promote anything I am posting a video. I have posted videos showing what my max would do for years, no promotion just posting video.
I am very pleased with my Adair Tracks. I post video so that Forum members can see the capabilities, my tracks are awesome and I love them. If you chose not to like them or if you think something else is better I think that is great. That is what freedom is all about.
I am about improving the sport, heres the information, if you think something is better post it and brag about it, I certainly will not be offended.
