I'm very impressed with it on the water compared to my Argo. It sits high and level and climbs out much better. The max with 24" Argo tires is faster than my Argo with 22s and a 54lb thrust trolling motor

Yes, front chains are off and all six tires mapped for circumference. The tires do slip a bit now in challenging terrain, like climbing out of creeks but they have always grabbed after a little spin. I much prefer this over broken axles lol. I've recently purchased a lathe, I have an idea for a bearing cage system that can installed and removed without pulling the axles. It's a compilation of ideas I've gathered from the site.

zuk, thanks for reply and good luck on your cage system design. our snow has melted from 36'' down to about 8'', but harder to go thru cause now it's wet and slushey. really takes more power than when it was fluffier. j.b.

Well, we finally got the first one of two running. I believe this is the first video of a running Sperry Rand "SPD" Wedge on the entire internet. This thing is crazy fast. Our Jiger will be fun too, but the body is in rough shape. Enjoy.

I remember seeing two of them running/swimming at an event in NY 11 or 12 years ago but I don't think it was recorded.
