I was for some reason thinking of a springer in the BAJA 1000.
I was thinking the same thing, Greasemonkey! I originally got the idea from when Attex had some of their first generation machines race in the Baja 500 under "Category X." Don sent Mike some pictures of it here: (scroll down to the bottom of the Attex brochures page to see it).
Many of you have seen the Crusher. Skid steer, suspenion, sort of an electric hybrid, remotely driven experimental military vehicle. Here's a page you can view a short or long video, OR download them in low or high res/full screen.
This is a short video clip of a Havel 6x6 , thats made in Europe . Looks sorta like an argo to me . The upper and lower tub is made out of fiberglass .

It's not a bad looking ride...but it seemed like they were trying not to break anything when they were driving it. Drive it like you stole it on your promo video.

Yeah , I guess they don,t drive their amphibs like we do in the US .
