Anyone else notice youtube has a 16x9 widescreen window now? I went to the trouble of letterboxing that vid before I uploaded it, and it came out in 16x9 anyway.. a bigger window, too, if you do the HQ link and view at youtube.

That was probably one of the best video,s that you,ve posted based on video clarity. That Divx video looked pretty darn good!

That was a two pass divx, but the real reason for clarity is it came off Kirk's sony disc camcorder. The divx codec just happens to be what I have working in VirtualDub at the moment. It cuts the mpeg file size by 4 or 500% so uploads are shorter.

John Schwab was holding the camera, maybe that affected it

I still use windows movie maker to edit all of my Flip video,s. I,ve tried Divx before , but windows movie maker still looks slightly sharper to me when I,ve uploaded to Utube. Boncrshr uses Dvix for his Sony camcorder because windows movie maker won,t take mpeg2. I do like the fast conversion and ease of use when using Dvix though.
