    • Great vid.....you East Texas guys will have to keep me posted if you put a ride together. It would be a nice little get-away from Houston.

        boncrshr,

So far we have three Max II,s , one argo big foot, and my Max IV, that is up for a ride. We would be glad to include you too ! There is a great place to ride at called " River Run ATV Park ". Its really close to Neches, Tx. Its about 2,800 acreas big. This park only charges us $15 to ride all day ! It has low river bottom land, hill climbs ,swamp areas ,and trails to ride on all day. In fact, its so big and the trail riding is so varied ,,you can,t ride it all in one day ! You can do a web search and check it out . Its well worth the drive I assure you .

Every time it rains the low areas fill up with water. Since this place borders on the Neches river,,,it always holds lots of water for the amphibious rider .

        • That was a great video!! Looks a lot like the swamp I ride in around here. It's great to see other MaxIV's going through impossible stuff that no one else can seem to make through and all without getting stuck!! Max IV's rule!!!

Dan ,glad you liked the video Eddie shot of me as we both navigated our way through the flooded low lands , along the Neches River bottoms. Eddie has a much better one coming soon , for every one,s veiwing pleasure .

I thought Eddie,s 5 mega pixel camera took some exellent video action.

            • 6x6 boat amphib, Fiat motor

I found this very unique looking 6 wheel, Fiat powered ,amphib on U-Tube . I don,t know what kind of atv tires are on it , but , they sure look like " High Lifter Out Laws " to me . They swim pretty darn good in the water too.

                  • The latest Haspin Acres ride from Oct '07 is out on dvd. Dubbed the "Dust Bowl" ride, as it was so dry. Excellent traction however. Usually the clay/sand soil is wet and super slick.

Think I might do short features of individual riders or obsticals.. there is a lot of meat in this 2 hr video. Here's me displaying skill/stupidity.

                    • Roger ,

I was told by John S., that the hills that looked really steep on the video , were even steeper at the haspin acreas event , when you guys were there. That looked like a really long and challenging hill , you climbed . Great job Roger ! An 8 wheeler shines on stuff like that.

                        Hey MudBug,

I checked out the website of that park, and it looks really cool....there were no pics of the amphibs though. Have ya'll embarrassed them any in the mud?

                          boncrshr,

The reason you did not see any pics of amphibs there , is because the day the Max IV and the Max II showed up ,these were the first amphibs they had ever seen , since they were open for business.

                          • But did you make 'em jealous with your mudding capabilities?

                                boncrshr ,

Oh yes , I,m sure they were not only jealous but also envious , when they saw where the 6-wheelers could go, but they could not attempt to follow. The day my two friends went , it had rained a lot several days earlier. River Run atv Park holds a lot of water in all of the low areas ( LOTS OF THOSE THERE ) Because it borders the Sabine River bottoms , this place is perfect for the amphibious rider. There are lots of places there , even when it has,nt rained,, that is just off limits to a 4-wheeler . Here the amphibious rider is unchallenged.
