The original rawhide tread design in 21" is different than the rawhide III's. Wish they made taller sizes as it was a good swimmer.

Whipper, that cam really shows how smooth your ride is. You need to mount that on a non-springer to show the difference.
Jim, I loved that comparison video and the pinks music had me laughing pretty hard. I was expecting more of a difference between the two.

[QUOTE=whipper-ag;7467]Just checking out the new head cam. This is one of the 1st videos that I took with it. I've still got some glitches to work out (like sucking down the batteries like coca cola). It needs a 12 volt adapter. It didn't work every time I bolted it to the frame mount, but it worked if I had it attached to my helmet. So I lost a lot of great video, because it wasn't recording sometimes. It's nice to have both hands free though. This camera has enough memory to last 30 hours, but the batteries only last about 3 1/2 hour per charge.
It has a wide angle lense in it, which is nice I think. Still have to figure out the best place for the microphone.
Whipper ,
Chase cams sells a rubber camera mount for their bullet cameras . Maybe you can check out their bullet camera mount , and make you own .

Mike, do you think that could have been one of those Superchiefs that was geared up a little bit from the factory? Gus and I actually talked about that a couple weeks ago. It's quite amazing what can happen when you have a different number of teeth on your sprockets."Looks like you have a problem with your 4 wheeler........you're missin' two wheels there"

Could be, but the D/stock is already running 20-tooth sprockets (I think? Could be wrong...) on the finals. Heck, it tops out at about 47, and that's with a dinky 440 and no real other mods. The Chap should put out nearly 10 more horse than my ULII-02. That ought to be enough to push it to 48. The D/stock is really quite stock after-all. That Superchief is just a fine sounding machine. Listen carefully, and you can hear it pull from the bottom end. I don't think he's topped out when he passes the camera.

It looks and sounds great! Do us all a favor and count the number of teeth on your front sprockets if you get a chance. I'm betting it's 20 or 22. If it's higher, we're not speaking. I don't know what the lowest factory-installed number of teeth is/was. It's cruising, for sure. Constantly awaiting more videos...

My two Chiefs have a 22-20 setup. My newest machine, a Super Chief, has bigger rear sprockets so I'm guessing it's a 26-20 ratio.
I'm not sure but I think every machine I own has 20 on the front sprocket. I've always thought the gearing reduction happened on the sprockets being fed by the T-20 (middle and rear) and the small sprocket on the middle axle and the front axel were slaves to everything else (the teeth on the T-20 and the sprockets it feeds).
Either that or it's just coincidence that all my machines have the same number of teeth on their front sprockets....well, at least the Colt and the two Chiefs do.Banned
