  • Good point George. I don't know where they changed the gear ratio. I have seen a couple different front sprockets on machines. I'll have to double check the D/stock again to see what the rear tooth number is. Hmph. Maybe I should just throw a Chap. in there. :o(

            • Joe, that was great. I saw the original episode when it first aired and enjoyed it then but I think I like your edited version with nothing but action shots much better.

That is a custom body, a prototype mud OX soon to be released. More ground clearance than anything made, 40 horse Kolher engine, and a drive system powered by hydraulics. Tires can be counter rotated as you saw in the video. Some machine!

Not yet, getting close to production I understand.

                              • Haspin, 4/06 a warm wet Spring weekend. 7 minutes of my footage. John Schwab took the weekend off from filming so this is the only footage. Shows Tory dipping a corner of his maxII in the drink. Greg Orr drove over a limb, and it popped up and speared his Avenger headlight.

Not shown, Greg and I climbed a long steep hill in our 8's, thinking no one else would think about following us. Then here comes the couple and dog in the maxII doing a wheel stand the last 20 feet. The wife had a "what, me worry?" look. Unbelievable climb.

Al and Jon in their maxII's, pre Frontier era.
