Great video guys. John almost made it to the top. Heck of a try.
What was the smoke?
Belt
tires
or engine smoke
LewisLife should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

He smokes a belt about every ride/ravine. Not that you can see, but smell. Hell, my argo belt is 10 years old. Who says low range has no advantages
The smoke is engine oil. A briggs vanguard crankcase ventilation system will spit oil if the engine is tilted toward the flywheel side. They vent into the carb throat, and soak the paper air filter when they puke oil. I got tired of buying overpriced filters, and changed the crankcase vent to an automotive valve cover vent, away from the air cleaner. To Invent, you need a good imagination and a pile of junk. Here's John Schwab doing his latest fad, straddling ravines.. err at least at the start. He doesn't get to see much video of himself, he's usually the guy with the camera. Cougar got this footage.

Haspin Acres is one of the great riding areas anywhere. As someone said, I just love the small, impossible looking lines. That ravine in the video was the highlight of my weekend. It was much steeper than it appears in the video. Thank you Kirk for getting me on the other end of the camcorder for a change
