Yay, got a free electric wheelchair

As the title says I picked up a free electric wheelchair from a guy who had it listed on Craigslist. its an Invacare Action Arrow Storm model. batteries are shot but he said the motors,drive and controls are good. So how does this relate to 6x6's
I want to build an electric powered mini 6x6 or tracked AATV for my kids to use. the drives and controls from an electric wheelchair seemed to be the ideal setup. a couple of deep cycle batteries should do the trick. I'll probably end up making it out of aluminum or steel for the body unless my plastic repairs turn out good on my hustler project... also the plastic supply in town does make prototypes so I might be able to get a simple tub made up... axles etc. should be pretty easy. may have most parts left over after my other machines are restored...
Has anyone else done anything like this?? Pics etc..

I have seen a website where a guy built a mini tank for his son using electric wheelchair parts as a powertrain. It seemed to work well, and looked awesome. I can't find the site right now, but if I come across it, I'll post it for you.
