has anyone here used or seen a runva winch?found them on ebay with good reviews plus there sold here in ontario.

the 2500 looks exactly like the champion brand sold at tractor supply for $89-$99. the solenoid and switches are different, but i'd be willing to bet the winch it's self is made by the same company. i'm running the 2000lb champion version on 3 machines and I've had very good luck with them.

That's a decent looking winch! Keeping the steel cable clean and lubricated on my cheapie winch is getting harder to do all the time.
I'm eventually going to need one for other projects; this looks like a great option

Plott Hound, PLEASE do report on the winch! The Warn 1700# winch is 99.99 at TSC till Jan 2_? (Think 22nd) but I am curious about these. Do you know if they're made in Canada or Asia or ....? I plan on putting a winch on an Attex. Was going for the Warn till I saw this, just wondering if I'm better with the smaller Warn or one of these. If you don't mind, LMK country of origin and how she looks/works for you. Thanks..

im sure runva is an asian made winch.shipping is real fast,came today in the mail.certainly looks well made.would have prefered a warn but the cost is just nasty for us in canada.i hate buying offshore but for periodic use this was my best deal.

Cool. I just looked it over again. JP had posted up somewhere about the less expensive winches. It's the permanent magnets in the motors that can be damaged. Just break up long/heavy pulls with a couple short cool-down breaks to avoid overheating the motor which can damage the magnets. It doesn't look bad on the site. Now you just need to get stuck so you can use it

so i partially installed the winch today.wiring was real easy and like advertised everything needed is in the box.winch seems to have decent speed and is quiet compared to my champion.will finish this review as soon as i hook up to something and give it a real good pull.
