  • A couple more Wanna-Be questions.

OK, I've been looking around pretty thoroughly (3 state radius) for a suitable AATV, and am finding that there must be a high ratio of scams to legitimate deals out there. Two machines in a row that I've inquired about got absolutely no reply when I replied to them attempting to set up an inspection.

And, I was contacted by another individual who said he was scammed out of 3k on one I was looking at. Is this a problem all over, or have I simply got off to a bad start?

The second thing I'd like to know is opinions of the 6 verses 8 wheel machines when it comes to being manuverable and useful in nasty wet swanp areas. Does the longer 8 wheel chassie hurt or help.

Hope I can get some ideas from you folks.

    Thanks

The Scams seem to have really ramped up in the last 6 months. Just be careful and if a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.

I would thing the 8 wheel would be best in wet marsh/ swamp just due to the fact that the load is spread out over 2 more wheels. adding tracks to any machine will lower your ground pressure even more.
