argo registraion and use

hey everyone, got a question about the use of 6x6's on public lakes. i got it all regesiterd today and that was easy. What i was wondering was if anyone has had any trouble with the dnr laws about lakes and ponds, read the atv laws and it didn't really explain much of anything about 6x6 use. Any info would be great. thanks ron

Hey Weber. I cant comment on Us Laws but I live in Canada Inside a national park and I am not allowed to ride th trails but since the Argo is registered as an amphibian ( the data plate on the dashboard) I am allowed to use it as a boat. This all came to a head last winter when I was plowing the snow off of the public lake in front of my house to make a rink for the grandchildren, and th park warden showed up and tol me he was going to impound the argo and arrest me for riding an atv inside park boundaries. I showed him the amphibious plack and tol him it was really a boat.......................He didnt know quite what to do but after checking with his dispatcher he agreed and let me go.

I registered mine as an asv all surface vehicle so It has it's boat reg in that. In Vermont anyways

thanks for the reply, so far what i did was put an atv and a watercraft reg on it. another guy said he registerd his as an asv(all surface veichle). the laws a so different and they change so much it's hard to keep track.

i didn't even think of that asv, i got atv and watercraft on it so hopefully that does the trick. i replied to another guy that the laws change so much and varies from state to state that it's hard to keep track. hope to talk more with you later.
